What is ZFL Studios?
Zest For Life (ZFL) Studios is a business with one priority: to reclaim the Pit Bull in today's culture. The American Pit Bull Terrier has become a broader "pitbull" caricature. Its image has become distant from reality; the true shape, breed type, and working ability of the breed have been buried in tight corners of the internet. Many "pitbull" designs out there are either extreme or simplified. I want to give the breed an avenue to come out as it is meant to be: well structured, athletic, its silhouette demanding our attention. The Pit Bull is also properly two words and will be addressed as such here as I promise to honor the breed with accuracy in description, physical form, and in its broader, less tangible form: the inner temperament, the terrier attitude, the intensity, and Zest for Life.
Who am i?
I am Elizabeth Moore. My love for the American Pit Bull Terrier was born when I was just a kid in elementary school. Loose Pit Bulls were very common in my neighborhood; they were handed around like collectables. They were the primary dogs I was used to. Naturally, I saved up my first few paychecks to find one I could show like the dogs on TV. I purchased my first purebred American Pit Bull Terrier in 2012. That was the start of a lifelong train ride I'm not looking to disembark. I have since owned, trained, and learned from eight American Pit Bull Terriers. Six remain with me physically, but I carry the face and heart of each Pit Bull with me when I look through my viewfinder, when I put pen to paper, when I close my eyes and sculpt away at a new idea or design. The breed has become a cherished muse.
The Record
I see this breed as stunning, courageous, ridiculous, and misunderstood. As I've evolved into a breed preservationist, I aim to make the case they must always exist and persevere for centuries to come.
Through ZFL Studios, I will also be rolling out training classes.

I hope to use my own experience to help introduce locals to the dog sport world and show off the athleticism and ability of the American Pit Bull Terrier.
